See when your body settles.

Anlan doesn't teach meditation. It tells you whether your body settled.

Meditate with your Apple Watch the way you already do. Afterwards, see whether your body settled, about when, and for about how long.

For Apple Watch with watchOS 26 or later, paired with iPhone on iOS 26 or later. Compatibility

What Anlan is

Anlan is an Apple Watch meditation insights app. It doesn't teach meditation or play guided audio. After each meditation, it estimates whether your body settled, roughly when, and for about how long — all worked out on your Apple Watch and iPhone, with no account and no servers.

After every meditation

One line for the whole meditation.

One number, one line across the whole meditation, and a plain answer: didn't settle, settled for a while, settled, or still almost the whole time. Drag along the chart to see any moment.

Your latest meditation

Compared with you, not with anyone else.

Your lowest heart rate sits next to your usual heart rate, your heart rate while asleep and your recent meditations. Breathing, estimated from wrist movement, appears when it can be read.

This meditation, in detail

Fell asleep? It shows.

Minutes your watch logged as sleep are marked asleep on the line, and aren't counted as settled.

One square a day, deeper when calmer.

History is a calendar shaded by how settled your body was: a week shows every meditation, a month shows each day by its best meditation, and six months shows the overall picture. A second tab shows how long you meditated each day. No streaks to keep, no scores to chase.

On Apple Watch

Turn the crown, hold, and begin.

  1. Turn the Digital Crown to choose a length.

Anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours; past an hour, the dial goes round again. When you open Anlan, the length is already set from how long you usually meditate at this time of day, ending on the quarter hour when it fits.

  2. Press and hold anywhere for 3 seconds to begin.

Three light taps while you hold, then a soft tone.

  3. Meditate.

Just a dim glow. No text, no numbers, no buzzing. To finish early, hold for 3 seconds again.

  4. When time is up, gentle taps build.

They start light and grow, with an optional singing bowl. Raise your wrist, tap or hold to stop. The result is on your iPhone.

Afterwards, on the watch

A gentle wake-up — or none.

Meditating at bedtime? Tap the bell on the start screen and this meditation ends quietly when time is up, with no taps or sound. It turns on by itself during your Quiet Hours, or when Sleep Focus is on; tap it again to be woken as usual.

Clear about what's recorded and what's estimated.

Recorded

How long you meditated. Heart rate from Apple Watch.

Estimated

Whether your body settled, about when and about how long. Breathing, when it can be read.

Can't tell

How focused you were. How deep the meditation went. Your state of mind.

No account. No servers.

  • The app has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Heart rate and sleep are read from Health with your permission, worked out on your Apple Watch and iPhone, and never uploaded.
  • Your watch sends each meditation straight to your own iPhone. Export to CSV any time, free.
  • This website has no forms and no accounts. It uses Google Analytics to count visits; see the privacy policy.

What Anlan is not

  • Not a meditation course. No guided audio, no lessons, no streaks to keep.
  • Not a focus tracker. A settled body and a focused mind are not the same thing, and no watch can tell you the second.
  • Not a medical device. Results are estimates. If you have concerns about your health, talk to a doctor.
